BASIC FIRST AID – COMMUNITY AND WORKPLACE (ASHI)

This course teaches individuals to effectively recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries, sudden illness, and what to do in a mass casualty situation. We teach how to treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until the fire department & emergency medical services personnel arrive on the scene.


Some Topics covered include: emergency response, controlling bleeding, shock, tourniquets, triage, soft tissue injuries, bone, joint and muscle injuries, sudden illness, heat and cold-related illness, and many others.

FIRST AID

This course is designed to prepare a person to recognize an emergency and to follow the “Assess, Alert, Attend” step plan of action for emergency care. The program will prepare participants to: Assess the scene and the victims, Alert Emergency Medical Services, Attend to the victim. The objective of this course is to familiarize the individual with the principles of first aid. The intended audience are persons assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace, community, and those wishing to be prepared for everyday accidents.


In addition to the first aid training, we specialize in tailoring our program to include personalized training for specific situations pertinent to your company at no extra cost. We teach schools, childcare workers, assisted living facilities, hotel industries, construction companies, boy scouts, girl scouts, and troop leaders.
