This is a combination course at a discount. This class includes American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare Providers and, Basic First Aid. This full instructor led American Heart Association course meets all requirements for those in any healthcare setting such as doctors, nurses, EMT’s, medical, dental or nursing schools and, those already in the healthcare industry such as hospitals, clinics, nursing homes or assisted living facilities. This course teaches CPR techniques, choking and AED use for Adults, children and Infants.
American Heart Association requires that you bring your BLS provider manual to the class. If you do not already own one, you may purchase one here prior to the class. The cost is $22.00
The First Aid teaches individuals to effectively recognize the signs & symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. We teach how to treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until the fire department & emergency medical services personnel arrive on scene.
Topics covered include: emergency response, bleeding, shock and soft tissue injuries, bone, joint and muscle injuries, sudden illness, heat and cold related illness and injury. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor & OSHA standard.
